today at work 2 old ah ma came in separately..
the first one came with one young woman n man. they are social workers.
the auntie walk very slowly and the eyes can see properly i think, got cataract i think coz its cloudy..
she sells newspaper, but she can't even talk well..
anyway, after she put her thumbprint on the form, she started to cry..
all 4 of us dunno whats wrong with her.. she was tearing and drooling..
perhaps she had got a sad story ba.. they left shortly after that.
den later in the evening, another short ah ma came in, alone.
she sat down and started to share her story with my colleague
den we gave each other the ? look, why is she coming here to tell story
she said ALOT of irrelevant things. like the church gave her one plastic bag, she asked other people to help her open her letter box bcoz she can't reach, her son cheated her $25,000.
anyway, she came to take the money. and we asked the cleaner uncle to come in to be translator since she was speaking hokkien. so 3 of us listen to her REPEATED story for at least 10times. SERIOUSLY. she stayed for half an hour.
we told her to go home and wait for letter. she understood. but she continue with her story AGAIN. my colleague like find it annoying coz she like no intention to leave. but i find it amusing, i laughed. haha very bad. den the cleaner uncle made comments like " wa she still know the names of mrt station" " wa, she got a good memory" "wa, she can still travel to serangoon alone" in chinese while the ah ma continue with her story. its funny la coz i dunno, just find it funny.
but of coz the ah ma very pitiful, all her children dun care her wan. cut her telephone ask her to call 995 in case of emergency. den her sons took her money. she say until want to cry. i really can't imagine that there really is such bad children out there though tv always have such interview .
hai sad case la, but the ah ma still very good loh.. she say she going to travel down to ang mo kio by bus to pass her son the letters in case its important. she said he is still her son anyway.
hai.. no matter what the child do, parents will nv blame them..
so sad...
