i consider the following days of the week as wkend alr.
oh man, this wk has been short for me!
many things are coming to a closure.
mon did project until 10pm, first time i stayed in central lib til closing time. got to know they will play this irritating music to chase ppl away. glad that everything was somehow done in the end. the end product was not bad! everyone contributed their parts and tried somewhat our best to make it a good one. except for this guy. thruout the whole of the project making process, we only meet up twice. mon we were busy editing. he was... reading his own notes. there is nothing much for him to do also anyway. i wonder how often during project forming, groups will contain this sort of ppl.. hmm...
tues was short as usual. finally i wasn't late for 8am lecture, in fact earlier than lecturer. woke up at 7am and took a bus at 7.30am. just nice! home. study for wed genetics test. somewhat relax. study finish a stack of notes then slp for 1 hour. haha... had tuition at night. was... not good. he wasn't attentive. sometimes when i m moody n tired. i just can do nothing and waited for him to start doing his work again.. one of those times i dread to go tuition and feel like i teach nothing, just waited for time to pass.. hmmm...
wed is today. woke up early at 7.30am to eat breakfast w mom. i love to go eat breakfast w her. i love to drink teh early in the morning. then started to finish up the rest of the untouched genetics notes. i realised that i love to do punnett square and crossing. its one of those mathematics related thing that i can do now. i always love maths! absolute ans, the sense of achievement when i managed to solve it! then got prepared for lessons at 11am, showered, bought lunch myself and off i go! german tutorial was... hmm, as usual. i want my oral results! then went to do a survey, there r many $ earning opportunities in nus. computing students are always conducting survey for the final/honour year project. sat there for 2 hours, filling in forms and surf online and chat online regarding shopping for laptop. tried my very best to show whatever i know about notebooks pc. erm.. there was this part where we have to match terms to correct definitions. theres like 802.11a/b, erm and some other terms that i came across but not interested to find out what is it.. haha.. anyway, they said there will be ten lucky participants who can get $100! wow, i want! but everyone got $10 after the session. not bad right?! its my third survey alr. wahaa!
genetics test. definitely one of the first kind of test i took. its open-book,open-discussion, open-laptop. nevertheless, most of the things were useless, no time to check, no definitely ans out there. but was happy with myself that i managed to solve all the problems by myself! but somehow i don't like open-discussion bcoz of 2 reasons. i hate to contribute when others just keep to themselves, hate to share my ans and others just take note of it. if its open discussion, then lets just discuss literally! another reason would be that others copying my answer blindly. needless to say, its just unfair. hmm. but still i like open-book test n exam! no need to memorise till siao but test concepts! i think i wld feel more happy to be able to solve a tough question after flipping thru notes and books, than able to recall the name of that particular enzyme for that particular reaction (for eg)...
2 more tests next week, major ones. bcoz there wun be final exams for these. yup, i want to work smart and score high! recently i learnt something. to be focused, serious when doing something. thanks to that someone who doens't know that he teaches me that =)
lectures are coming to the end. so far, i miss biodiversity lectures from last semester. miss learning interesting facts about animals and plants, miss Dr. Benito Tan, miss fieldtrips to changi beach n zoo. this semester, i am going to miss heavenly mathematics: a cultural astronomy. learnt many interesting facts from this module too! all abt Sun and Moon, abt cultural festive n public holidays, miss the ang moh lecture who knows all about chinese astronomy. i have really seen lecturers who are passionate about what they teach, and they always make me interested in the subject too! how i wish i have such great influence too!
