its friday 29/6/07 10:27pm now in swiss, which will be saturday 30/06/07 04:27am in sg.

just went out to have a dinner with my host family. their son n daughter in law came back home today from shanghai and so they had now a complete family. we walked like 15mins to a italian restaurant near the house. me and my friend ordered a pasta and pizza to share. they ordered a salad for us too. and the portion was so big and we don't dare to finish it if not we wouldn't have space for our main course. so we gave it to the younger son. haha. so did the half finished pizza. anyway, the food was fabulous. we had some white wine too. before which, we were invited to a glass of champagne at home to welcome them. whoa, me and my friend got so dizzy when we wanted to walk back to our room. does champagne has high alcohol percentage?

anyway, german lessons so far are quite easy and more of revision. had a usa and 2 poland classmates too. they are way more advanced than us. visited a museum and a cathedral today. the cathedral is the highest structure in fribourg. we climbed 348 steps up to the top! i tell u, its not easy. its a narrow spiralling staircase. when we got up to the top, we were panting like mad but then there is somehow a sense of achievement! haha..

my lesson ends ard 12noon everyday and then we would have free lunch at the canteen today. the portion is always big but i tried to finish all coz i want to keep myself full if not i would start buying expensive snacks afterwards..
after lunch, we would shop around or walk around the town.. basically, life here is very relax. when its about 6pm, everyone would go back to their own home and have dinner with their host family.
guess what time i usually sleep?

latest by 11pm! and when its 10:30pm, i already feel that its late.
somehow the people here sleep early...

but yesterday was one of the classmates birthday. so we had dinner at some kebab shop and then went to the street at the town for some beer. haha.. it was fun! we played some forfeit games and drank swiss beer.. actually, i got abit high. wahahhaha...
then i got to see the night life in fribourg if not, i would sleep very early everyday.
made some swiss friends too! they are not very proper ppl but nice. sent us back to our home with their vintage volkswagon van..

thats all for now :)
