First week of school was...
quite ok loh!
monday- went for a swim with my cousin in the afternoon and i got even tanner, how sad.. at least more even thou, haha.. was lucky to not have any lesson on that day but i still went for a career talk by a swiss life sci company with joanna n maybelle at night. after 3 months of holiday, i practically forgot the locations of the lts..
tuesday- had 3 lectures, all core modules. first lecture only, all the lecturers started to talk like a bullet train, just happily clicking the mouse and changing the slides, i don't even know what they were teaching la, where got time to absorb! lunch was at the newly renovated arts canteen, The Deck, with j & m, canteen food are cheap and good! went jogging in the evening ard my housing estate, a fellow jogger smiled at me =)
wednesday - yeah! my free day, planning to work and study on this day for this semester.. spent the whole day at home doing.. nothing, really nothing, except buying a copy of straits times and attempt to look for a job, still looking while waiting for replies..
thursday - went to sch early to meet cl for lunch at the deck again. first thing she said when she met me was.. you got tanned! then bought german 3 coursebook from a senior who is taking german 5 this sem, talked a little, wonder when will i reach her level of german... hmmm... anyway, saw mindy walking into the lt for a gem module then realised that both of us are taking the same module! thot we wldn't be seeing each other this sem as we are in different grpings for life sci modules.. so qiao! catched up a little during the break =) went gym afterwards with j & m, my first visit to nus gym, mainly male dominated but ok la, don't feel very awkward..
fri - had that 3 core modules lecture again, sian diao, why the lecturers are so rush huh? for level 1000 module, the lecturers usually take 2 or 3 lectures to finish one set of notes, but now, one set for one lecture. can't imagine the pace for level 3000 modules, 2 sets per lecture?! lunch with some swiss immersion ppl at technoedge, filled with laughters by making fun of someone :P really hope that all 12 of us can stay in touch and meet up often. last activity of the day was running on the track with j & m, andreas joined in halfway and he was practically sprinting, ran pass me 4 times lor! exercise is something j, m and me hope to do at least twice a week because we wanna keep the xin xin ku ku built up stamina from backpacking ( all the rush for the train and climbing spiral stairs up the tower in cathedral) .. and i do feel more healthy and fit now!
sat - support my idol day! watched 'Secret' with darius and jiaji. i think thats the best movie by jay so far, maybe coz the role is tailor made for him by him. the beginning of the show was sweet yet funny, i like it! like the twist also, but abit draggy afterwards. eat, walk, rest, drink after the movie. talked about Life and love, being the only girl present, i was being kick around like a ball between them... went marina square to watch the firework display with other singaporeans. it was quite magnificent but not romantic la coz its not put up for anyone but for whole of singapore ma. getting home was quite sian diao also, so packed everywhere and the roads were all so congested.
gonna just rest at home today and hopefully tidy up my room!
