Weird Theory

i was chatting with my mom this afternoon and came across the age topic.

i said "wa ma, you already xx years old already eh, did you realise it?"

mom "ya i know, i already (xx+1) years old"

i said "no what, only xx la"

mom "i count the chinese one ma"

i said "y would you want to do so? where got ppl want to give a older age wan??"

mom "then ppl will comment 'wa, u (xx+1) already still look so young ar' "


ok she won.


yesterday during tuition, joven happily said it was his birthday and what his class did for him, and what cake his grandma bought for him. he said he gave the whole class mentos, he asked me if i wan. later on, his sis brought in a piece of cake for me =)
he carried on telling me about other stuff like his camp, ghosts and random questions. lol, most of the time i was listening, laughing and try to bring the topic back to the questions on the table!
i like kids who like to ask questions, because this shows that they are thinking!
but sometimes, it really gets too far

me "when u see one grasshopper lying on top of another, they are usually mating"

him "oh.. then frog also mate like that right?"

me "ya thats right"

him "har, den if sometimes we accidentally fall on top of other, also counted ar?"

me "oh no la...... thats different, not like that................"
