Ripple effect

have you ever created a ripple effect? A small gesture or a light-hearted advice that unknowingly helps many other?

I think i just did one.

The other day I (unwillingly, bcoz i have so much work to do) followed my mom to my grandma's house. My primary school cousins were having school holiday and had many homework to do. Being the most educated one present in the house at that point of time and obviously very free, I was asked to coach my primary 3 cousin to do his homework.

We did science and maths. You know, I really have a great passion to teach this two subject to small kids, because for science, they always ask cute questions and i enjoy telling science stories. And then for maths, oh i love to explain maths questions, i don't know why. But anyway, as we were doing the maths paper, I taught him little tricks to solve questions faster and easier, including the fingering method to check 9 x table quickly, a method that i was taught by my sec sch tutor (i would never forget her, she's my role model in giving tuition).
you might know this method but surprisingly, quite some people don't know!
so happen that my little cousin was teaching his classmate this method, and his teacher got to know about it, and think its useful and thus decided to teach the whole class this method!

Now you tell me, haven't I just create a ripple effect? =)
