Feasting after our last paper!

Adaptation...

one week into holidays, i think switching to holiday mood is one of the easiest thing and fastest adaptation i would ever need to get used to.

initially i was still sleeping not too late, waking up not too late, and staying at home to clean up the house and go for tuitions. but.... i started running about soon and sleeping late, like 4am once?! it was once normal to me, but as i m getting old and more health conscious, i try to avoid damaging my health like that.

after school graded projects, i now have yet another project, i called it "myeuro2008", i m a travel addict not a soccer fanatic. now that i have one time experience which i admittedly did not contribute much in research, this time i must put in more effort!

i also started applying for jobs, actually i don't really wanna start working so fast, because once i start work, i have no time to do things that i want to, and when i stop working, it would be time for me to leave singapore. so i half-heartedly sent out my resume to erm... 6 companies (its easy job what). maybe recruit express loves me, 4 job agents contacted me in one day?! one of them even offers me a HR job in RE itself, but no lah, not interested in this. do you have more interesting jobs for me?

i found myself a drum guide as well, lets call him Mr Nice Guy, bcoz he really is! Finally my dream comes true, one thing off my 'wishlist'. First lesson was embarrassing, because i have forgotten quite alot of music stuff, gosh, and my sense of rhythm.... but Mr Nice Guy was very encouraging.

Meet-ups are for sure, after hiding in my cave for so long! Singapore landscape and even the shops in shopping centres are ever changing huh?! I realized so many things have changed within 2 or 3 months! Like DXO ladies night is no longer on fridays, eww, no more freebies... also, ytd was an extremely funny and enjoyable day spent. w-e s-p-e-a-k l-i-k-e t-h-a-t w-h-i-l-e e-a-t-i-n-g e-a-r-t-h-q-u-a-k-e (p.s. condolences to victims of Sichuan earthquake)

Many friends are also going on holidays or going back to their hometown. Sometimes when i got to know such news, I feel a bit disappointed and abit envious, I wish I could join them, but I know that would be asking for too much. One must always be prepared to give up something for another right. Maybe next year we could organise something huh?
